Celebration Schedule
On July 26, Williamson Productions of Des Moines IA will present a Family Celebration Worship Service. Williamson Productions features a high quality magic/puppet ministry that speaks powerfully to children and familes. This even can be a highlight for your children during the summer, but it will also be a powerful worship experience for adults.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS - On Sunday, August 2, we will be holding a Germanfest Buffet Dinner. This will be a freewill offering event but we do need to have you RSVP by Sunday, July 26th. There will be a sign up sheet in the church entry or you may call the church office. There will also be a sign up sheet for those willing to donate items for the dinner. More details are on the table in the entry.
Q125 TICKETS AVAILABLE - Our celebration Sunday, September 6th, will begin with a celebration worship service beginning at 10:00 A.M. After the worship service we will continue with a steak fry held at the church. Ticket prices for this event are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and under. You may purchase tickets ahead of the event at the church office, Ken's Market or Security National Bank.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in making a donation to help defray the costs of the Q125 celebration, you may drop off your donation at the church office or mail it to the church and mark it specifically as a donation for the Q125 celebration.
Theme: Lord, Where Are You Leading? Reflection of the need to discern how God sees the future of this congregation while being thankful for the past.

January: Symbolic start of the celebration of the year.
January 18, church bell sounds 125 times.
March 18: Day of prayer and fasting: Acts 13:1-3
May 2: Mother/Daughter Tea
June: Cookbook launch
July: Clown Ministry (as part of VBS)
August 2: Germanfest
September 6: Official celebration day (tentative schedule):
- 10:00 AM Celebration worship service; Look what the Lord has done!
- 12:00 PM Celebration dinner
- 1:30 PM Celebration Concert: Sheltered Reality
- 3:00 PM Celebration Event: Guest Speaker (possibly Bishop deFreese)
- 3:00 PM Introduction of former ministers and former members who went into the ministry.
- 4:15 PM Celebration open house
