Confirmation at Immanuel is a time for young people to ask questions, explore their faith, and discover what it means to live as a Lutheran Christian in today’s world.
Confirmation meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. and uses the Lutheran YES! curriculum from Augsburg Fortress. Together, students explore Scripture, Lutheran theology, worship, the sacraments, and what our faith has to say about the questions and experiences they encounter in everyday life.
Confirmation is more than memorizing the “right” answers. It is a safe place to wonder, question, learn, and grow as students discover how the promises made at their baptism continue to shape who they are and how God is calling them to live.
At Immanuel, we walk alongside our young people as they grow in faith, reminding them that they are loved by God, surrounded by a community of faith, and called to share God’s love with the world.
